     proposals information. 

Loans - The State Revolving Fund provides low interest loans to governmental /
   
publicly owned entities.  Those include cities, towns, counties, water districts,
    sanitation districts, conservancy districts, conservation districts, metropolitan
    districts, water authorities, special districts, etc.  Additionally, private not-for-
    profit owned drinking water systems are eligible for funding through the State
    grant program; however, at present the State grant programs are not funded. 
    Private not-for-profit Drinking Water Systems may also secure SRF loan funding
    under the condition that a governmental entity assume the debt on behalf of the

Colorado Healthy Rivers Fund - part of the Colorado Check off
    Program that allows taxpayers to designate a portion of their tax refund to
    one or more charitable organizations or social programs. The watershed fund
    provides money for a competitive grant program to help local watershed
    protection groups to restore and protect our rivers, streams and
    lands within Colorado's watersheds.

 

Department of Local Affairs operates the Local Government Financial

    Assistance section that manages a number of grant and loan programs
    within the Department of Local Affairs specifically designed to address public
    facility and service needs. Through coordination and outreach with the
    department’s field offices, grant and loan resources are distributed on
    both a formula and discretionary basis depending upon applicable state
    statutory provisions, federal requirements and/or program guidelines.

 

Great Outdoors Colorado operates a number of grant programs, including

GOCO's Conservation Excellence Grant Program provides funding to existing organizations for conservation planning, staff training, open space assessment, expansion of services in underserved regions, planning for public access and education, and other activities which improve and expand the capacity of the organization to achieve quality land conservation.
